Dr. Natalie Bredeson
Advocate for children in foster care, committed to training those who care for them.
Yours, Mine, Theirs, Ours
No matter how you view them, children in care deserve the best from all of us. From foster parents to the legal system, I believe that we owe it to these children to give them the support needed to be successful.
As a former foster parent to over 25 kids and mom of 6, I have seen how the system works, and doesn't work sometimes. I am committed to implementing reform within the foster care system, starting with training. Anyone involved in child welfare will tell you that there is never enough effective training, and that you can never be too informed. Effective training can be one of our greatest tools in the fight for family preservation.
Whether it is trauma training, biological family relations training, blended family training, or attachment training; I would love to provide you with resources to help!
"You might be temporary in their lives. They might be temporary in yours. But there is nothing temporary about the love or the lesson." - Tonia Christle
